Dawn M. Kelly

Dawn Kelly is an associate with the firm. A native of New York, Dawn attained her bachelor of arts degree in communications from Fordham University in 1991. After working as a paramedic in New York City and on Long Island for more than a decade, Dawn returned to school, graduating second in her class and summa cum laude with her Juris Doctorate from Touro Law School in 2003. Dawn was admitted to the Connecticut and New York bars in 2003 and 2004, respectively. After graduating, Dawn joined Cahill, Gordon & Reindel, LLP in Manhattan as a litigation associate. At Cahill, an AmLaw 100 firm, Dawn worked on a variety of civil litigation and arbitration matters, including insurance, re-insurance, securities and contract cases. In 2005, she accepted a clerkship with the Honorable James M. Hopkins, United States Magistrate Judge, in the District Court for the Southern District of Florida. In 2007, Dawn earned her Masters in Public Administration, with a concentration in healthcare administration, from Long Island University. Dawn clerked for Judge Hopkins for three years before joining the Mrachek law firm in 2008. Dawn concentrates her practice on civil litigation, and also litigates in guardianship and bankruptcy matters.
