STUART — Although no ruling was made in the case of three Martin County School board members accused of violating the state Sunshine Law, battle lines were drawn at a hearing Tuesday afternoon.
Citizens for Sunshine, a Sarasota-based nonprofit advocacy group, filed a lawsuit in June claiming board Chairwoman Sue Hershey and members Laurie Gaylord and David Anderson violated the state Government-in-the-Sunshine Law by making an unannounced visit May 16 to the Stuart Adult Community High School.
