On June 2, 2015, Mrachek Law Shareholder Gregory Weiss, successfully represented several clients in a trial in the Tampa Division of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida. Specifically, the Court decided that the Firm’s clients could sell at an execution sale what had been represented as $2,000,000 to $4,000,000 worth of rare coins, rare currency and gold bars. The valuable items were recovered in a post-judgment levy in December 2014, and a third party intervened and claimed ownership as opposed to the judgment debtor. Mr. Weiss represented the same clients in obtaining the underlying non-dischargeable $3,600,000 judgment previously in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida. He stated, “I am happy to see our clients achieve a modicum of justice in light of the significant effort they have put in over several years.”
