Associates
Samantha Bowen Myers is an associate in the Firm, and focuses her practice commercial and business related matters. She handles all aspects of litigation, from pre-suit through case review, analysis and valuation of claims, depositions, and jury trial. She also represents clients in mediation and arbitration to resolve disputes outside of the courtroom.
Mrs. Myers is a native to Florida, having been born and raised in Miami. Following her graduation from New World School of the Performing Arts, she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree at Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business. Mrs. Myers majored in Economics, minored in Music Technology and Production, and received a certificate in French and Francophone Studies. Samantha earned a Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University Shepherd Broad College of Law, where she served as Lead Technical Editor of the Nova Law Review, competed in Moot Court, and was one of the few selected to the Order of the Barristers. During law school, Samantha interned as a summer associate at a national full-service law firm, where she worked on a wide range of civil litigation cases. She was also a law clerk for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit and prepared bench memoranda for Circuit Court Judges.
After graduating law school, Mrs. Myers was an Assistant State Attorney for Palm Beach County in Circuit Court for several years, where she oversaw felony offenses and served as a prosecutor in the Special Victims Unit that handles sexual assault and child abuse cases. She also prosecuted offenses at various levels including driving under the influence, crimes against law enforcement and robberies. Later, Mrs. Myers joined a national firm where she defended the rights of clients in medical malpractice, aging services, personal injury, liability and negligence litigation.
Mrs. Myers previously served as Secretary of the Palm Beach County Hispanic Bar Association. She is bilingual in both English and Spanish.
